- Ford Tempo. I have a 1988 Tempo with 29K miles. So far it has needed:
- right tie-rod end, 3 alignments, 4 new tires (see previous), passenger-side
- power-window motor, catalytic converter, muffler twice & exhust system once,
- battery, oxygen sensor, fuel pump, ignition lock, and maybe one or two
- others I forget. In addition, it stalls at red lights, the radio is
- erratic, sometimes the power windows stick, and the paint job has little
- white blotches all over it. I believe strongly in preventative maintenance,
- washing and waxing. I've had several other cars, but this one amazes me.
- Truly a wonder car.
