  17. I'm looking for net.wisdom regarding a phono cartridge.

  19. My preferences:
  20.     -neutral/warm balance
  21.     -good tracking
  22.     -compliance compatable with Well Tempered Arm
  23.     -output not important (low output MC OK)
  24.     -considered Sigma Genesis 2000, Grado Sig TLZ
  25.     -used with Sonogy Concerto / RIAA
  26.     (can load for anything 1 ohm => 100k, 20 dB => 80 dB)

  28. I'm looking for serious comments only, from those who have
  29. made tough comparisons.  My past experiences have been:

  31. Talisman S => I hate this bright, screechy dog
  32. Blue POint => ditto
  33. Supex 1000/2000 => Nice, but poor tracking
  34. Grado Sig 8M => nice, but no cigar
  35. Shure V15V MR => better than i expected, great bass, lousy detail
  36. Sony ??44 => demo in arm today, shows promise (at $60 !!)
