- I you haven't cleaned the lens, you might want to try that, but on a home
- player, that can be a very tricky thing, depending on how the Pioneer was
- constructed.

- If you like the sound of the CD player, then you might want to have it
- checked out and cleaned. That may fix the problem.

- If it doesn't, I'd say you're in the market for a new player. It's probably
- not worth fixing. IMHO, CD players got better in the last 3 years.
