  26.    Well consider or not. Take a look at Receiver JVC RX-1050 (rather
  27. expensive though but could be interesting when comparing features):

  46. TAPE2 has ordinary "tape monitor function". TAPE1 has "tape monitor"
  47. but can not monitor source from TAPE2.

  49. When selecting a source (excluding tape2) the corresponding output
  50. will be mute (to avoid looping sound). Example when selecting VCR2 all
  51. other output excluding VCR2 will be provided with signal.

  53. Digital output (to DAT) will only have signal if you have a digital
  54. input => No internal A/D that provide signal to digital output exists.

  67. a Digital Acoustic Processor (DAP) with 6 (SYMPONY, PAVILLION,
  68. STADIUM, CLUB, CHURCH and OPERA) different sound pattern where you can
  69. modify DAP level, room size, liveness and wall type.

  71. SEA (Sound Effect Amplifier) EQ with 7 bands. 5 preset curve forms
  72. (HEAVY, CLEAR, SOFT, MOVIE and VOCAL) and 5 memory to store your own
  73. curve.

  75. It has a sleep timer and switchable power outlet + 40 memories for FM
  76. or AM radio. Each input is provided with 3 memories of you presetting
  77. (like Volume, Prologic parameters, SEA, DAP, Loudness and so on)

  79. Also provided is a huge programmable remote control where you can
  80. store your remote codes from TV, TAPE1, TAPE2, VCR1, VCR2, VDP, CD (or
  81. CD charger), DAT and an EXTra (like cable decoders)
  82.  
  83. Drawbacks:
  84.  
  85. 1.) The lowest level of the volume level is too high. To listen to
  86. soft music when goto sleep is difficult. The level should be down 10
  87. to 20 dB more.

  89. 2.) The remote control is hard to operate in darkness even though it
  90. has built in light.
  91.  
  92. 3.) The SEA EQ operates only on the main Left and Right Channel.
  93.  
  94. 4.) It becomes rather hot. => Not recommended to have anything on its
  95. top.

  97.     Value for the money?   I don't know. It's your choise.
