  12. I have an Aiwa NSX350 bookshelf system that I like very much except I would
  13. like to get more bass out of it.  The output is 30 watts at 6 ohms.  I talked
  14. to the so-called "expert" at Cambridge Soundworks to see if it could power
  15. their Ensemble II system but she couldn't tell me anything at all.  Then I
  16. went to the audio store and the salesman just put his nose up in the air and
  17. said he onlys deals with "high-end" sound equipment.  Since then I've wondered
  18. if an unpowered subwoofer like the Cerwin Vega 12-inch subwoofer would work
  19. without blowing the amp.  I'd appreciate any viewpoints or experiences.  Please
