- I originally replied to Sylvia directly but I'll add my two cents here.
- I mix up my Instant Ocean salt in 5g drinking water bottles--and I've
- marked the water line when exactly five gallons of water is in there.
- From what I can remember (I've never tried this "experiment" directly),
- the only times I've ever had trouble getting the salt into solution is
- when I didn't have at least 5g of water. Even if it was just slightly
- lower than the 5g mark.

- Of course, this is probably just a coincidence but it can't hurt
- to check if you've got enough water...
