  37. I originally replied to Sylvia directly but I'll add my two cents here.
  38. I mix up my Instant Ocean salt in 5g drinking water bottles--and I've
  39. marked the water line when exactly five gallons of water is in there.
  40. From what I can remember (I've never tried this "experiment" directly),
  41. the only times I've ever had trouble getting the salt into solution is
  42. when I didn't have at least 5g of water.  Even if it was just slightly
  43. lower than the 5g mark.

  45. Of course, this is probably just a coincidence but it can't hurt
  46. to check if you've got enough water...
