- I've done it many times, no negative effect. When I really
- need to get my water change done, I make my KATI/ANI water, put
- in the salt, stick a power head in and let it suck all the salt
- through (fastest way to dissolve salt I know of), dump into
- tank. I use Tropical Marin, doesn't seem to have a dissolving
- problem.

- My normal way of doing water change is make KATI/ANI water
- and put in salt and power head the first night, do the water
- change the next. Consider it takes an hour to make 10g of water,
- it's much easier on me this way.
