  17. Supposedly the colour depends on the diet, but I have also noticed the colour 
  18. differences in the shrimp that can't be just explained away by that.

  20. I think there is a variation in colour among the specimens in the same
  21. culture that is genetic in nature.  If anyone has a better explanation, I'd
  22. like to hear it -- mine sounds rather doubtful.
