  12. We have had a 6" lipstick tang for several months now and she has been
  13. doing very well-- eating heartily.  There is a lot of algae in the tank
  14. which she enjoyed very much, supplemented with flakes.  About 3 weeks
  15. ago we noticed she had some bulges in her stomach, and later she passed
  16. some bits of crushed coral she must have sucked in with some algae.
  17. About a week after that, after being perfectly fine, we noticed a
  18. distinct indentation in her side one morning.   We watched her for
  19. several days and she stayed the same, but she had lost most of her
  20. appetite.  After scouring the books, we determined it might be
  21. tuberculosis, and put her in a hospital tank and started treatment.
  22. She's been there for a week now, and hasn't been eating anything.  The
  23. indentation is still there-- right over her vent.  I'm now wondering if
  24. she isn't sick at all, but rather one of the bits of crushed coral got
  25. stuck in her intestines.  If this is the case, is there anything I can
  26. do-- I'm desperate!
