- That last comment is very surprizing! TetraBits is my discus' favorite
- food (except for live food, of course...) and the few other discus
- keepers in my area report the same observation. I guess that you will
- have to get him used to it gradually, mixing it in with other stuff.

- As for the size issue: not all discus reach 6-7 inches (unfortunately),
- because of crowding and/or underfeeding. In fact, discus eat like
- (little) pigs, and if you really want to grow a nice discus, I'd
- recommend feeding him 3-4 times/day as much as he can eat, and do at
- least one 25-30% water change every week, preferably more often.

- A last remark: discus are much happier in a group when they are little,
- and at least in a pair when they are older. So if you're going to invest
- in a bigger tank, you might want to get him a few friends also. At
- first, it will most likely seem as if your discus will pick on the other
- ones, but that will stop as soon as they have decided "who is the boss".
