  15. I have had a green severum for 3-4 years.  I got it when it was the size of
  16. a nickel.  It's now 7 to 8 inches long, 4 to 5 inches tall and about an inch
  17. and a half "thick".

  19. I would certainly say that 2 in a 30 gallon is too much.  I have one in a
  20. 26 and he seems to be doing OK, but at it's current size, I think it's
  21. getting too big.

  23. I have not noticed much agression out of this fish (although I wouldn't
  24. trust it with something bite size).  I have it with a LARGE black ghost
  25. and a rope fish (odd combination huh).  The black ghost chases it around
  26. quite a bit and the severum never seems to fight back.  I kept a buenas aires
  27. tetra with this combo for quite a while before he "disapeared" (but I'd lay
  28. money that it was the ghost, not the severum).  The most violent the severum
  29. seems to get is that he loves to butt heads with himself in the mirrored back
  30. of the tank.

  32. This is (in my experience) a very hardy fish.  It loves duro-min and can
  33. easily be trained to take it from your hand.  I used to have mine jump 1 to
  34. 2 inches from the water to take it from my hand.  Now he eats from my hand
  35. but I don't make him jump (don't want to soak the carpet).
