- We play ours without guilt. Basically, Edison had cornered the
- market on Diamond Disc recordings and because he was old and
- mostly deaf, most of the recorded music isn't that great. We
- have about 70 Diamond Discs.

- As far as the cylinders, again I have about 150 or so, most are in
- the garage in a box getting dusty, but I play about a handful on
- a regular basis. Of my 78's for the Victor, my favorites get played a
- lot. But it's part of the novelty of having a player. The player is
- the collector piece, the music tends to be an accessory item.

- As far as my notion for "playing a lot" - this tends to be at the
- most a few times a month while showing friends and family, or
- torturing ourselves during local power outages with nothing else
- to do..... :-)
