  15. I have a Sony CDP-35 CD player for sale.  Has some nice features
  16. such as a 20 track music calendar, CD index access, full programmability
  17. including nice random play capability.  Displays in progress track time,
  18. or time remaining for either current selection or the entire CD.  When
  19. programming, computes the total time of tracks selected so far.

  21. There are two known problems with the player.  The CD disc compartment
  22. drawer sometimes sticks when trying to open it -- work-around is
  23. to tap the face of the drawer slightly, and it opens successfully.
  24. This problem is a minor annoyance and it has not gotten any worse
  25. in the past year.  The second problem is that recently, *some* of my
  26. CDs have been skipping during playback.  These CDs play fine on other
  27. players I have, so I suspect that there is a slight problem with the
  28. player itself.  Sometimes running one of those CD lens-cleaner discs
  29. through the player helps; sometimes cleaning the CD helps.  The problem
  30. occurs infrequently, but I have to say that the frequency has been
  31. increasing of late.  Since I just bought a CD changer, I am not inclined
  32. to get it fixed.  I have the instruction manual plus a complete
  33. shop manual that I got from Sony, but not the knowledge to debug
  34. the problem.

  36. I am asking $30 or best offer.  I prefer to deliver it personally
  37. in the Philadelphia area, but will shop if the offer is good enough.

  39. The unit is about 3 years old.  It is a small-box table model.
  40. No phone jack, no remote control.
