  9. FULL TIME POSITION AVAILABLE

  11. Position:  Operations Manager in the Insurance Industry.
  12. Location:  Downtown Toronto, Ontario.
  13. Remuneration : $55-$70k per annum to start depending on 
  14.                actual working experience.
  15.  
  16. Position Outline: This position requires the supervision of 10 to 15 people. 
  17.                   Candidates should have actual commercial experience in 
  18.                   preparation and monitoring of divisional budgets, staff
  19.                   training and career guidance, as well as divisional role
  20.                   planning. The successful candidate will manage three 
  21.                   supervisors, each with a staff of 4 or 5 people
  22.  
  23. Base Qualifications: Three to four years of actual commercial working
  24.                      experience, preferably in the insurance industry,
  25.                      however candidates with similar working experience
  26.                      in other financial indistries (ie. banking) will 
  27.                      certainly be considered. 
  28.                      A solid knowledge of IBM 4381 mainframe with DOS VM 
  29.                      ESA operating systems. IBM mainframe with DOS VM 
  30.                      and other operating systems will be considered.
  31.  
  32. Special Qualifications: Take charge of Systems Programming and Computer 
  33.                         Operations group. The individual should be a 
  34.                         self starter. He/She should have a solid technical
  35.                         foundation experience in team building as well as
  36.                         a proven track record of supervisory skills.
  37.                         The successful candidate should be able to instill 
  38.                         confidence in her/his team, and be willing to co-
  39.                         ordinate and facilitate multiple concurrent projects.
