  28. I am not sure if your antenna is fixed or not, but there is such a thing
  29. as a fixed antenna.  A fixed antenna can be removed by unscrewing it at 
  30. it's base.  I have an Omni with a fixed antenna and I never take it off
  31. to go through a car wash.  It just whips around on the car.  Even if it
  32. broke it is cheap and easy to replace.  The same can't be said about the 
  33. other types of antenna.
