- The consensus here looks like (IMO) these groups
- refer to things which are done outdoors (usually),
- but not done BECAUSE they are outdoors. Hence,
- they don't belong in the .outdoors hierarchy.

- rec.hunting certainly would fit in .outdoors, esp
- if its own moderator approves of the move. I think
- rec.backcountry would fit there too, but they don't
- seem interested in moving. If r.backcountry ever
- decides to split, it should move to .outdoors at
- that time. IMO, of course.

- in r.backcountry? This could be a big flamewar if
- you don't work things out with the backcountry crowd.
