- I disagree. rec.games.board cover table-top gaming of all sorts,
- but rec.games.miniatures could cover some miniature-specific things
- that really aren't game-specific such as painting techniques.

- Many of the techniques of miniature gaming are common regardless of
- what the game itself is. Also I think that wargames is too limited
- in scope. Miniatures are used in a lot of frp games. And what would
- you call Battletech? It *is* a wargame after all, but it has nothing
- to do w/ any historical events.

- btw: the artificial reality crowd are going to be really surprised
- to hear that they can't simulate something that doesn't exist. I
- though that was the whole point of simulations. Where else can you
- play billiards on a frictionless surface?
