  13. I'm not going to requote stuff here, as I'm not responding to something
  14. specific, but instead something general.

  16. Miniatures use goes far beyond wargames.  There is that alluded-to
  17. WarHammer 40K stuff, there are the RPGers who use miniatures (I've
  18. done it myself, on occasion), and there are those people (like a
  19. good friend of mine) who likes to collect, paint, and cast miniatures
  20. as a general hobby.  All these people could contribute something to
  21. an overall miniatures group.

  23. Rec.games.war, on the other hand, is about one small segment of that
  24. population.  I couldn't see myself voting for it.
