  13.   This may be inappropriate for this group, considering its evolving
  14. nature, but I shall press on nevertheless:

  16.   I was wondering if this group was going to discuss issues relating
  17. to being single in N.E. and _liking_ it? I have been single, am still
  18. single, and would prefer to remain single. It's not that I don't want
  19. any long-term meaningful _relationships_, it's just that I find
  20. long-term, meaninful _friendships_ much more rewarding. This attitude
  21. may change, of course, but currently it remains emotionally healthy
  22. for me. [Note: I realize, of course, that statements like this are extremely
  23. vague, but for the sake of brevity I will not elaborate further. I
  24. would be willing to discuss it at length if this group evolves into the right
  25. medium for it.]

  27.   Does anybody else share these sentiments and would like to share? Or should
  28. topics like this be segmented off to another group (although, you have to
  29. admit, a group called "ne.singles" does leave a wide wake behind it).
