- This may be inappropriate for this group, considering its evolving
- nature, but I shall press on nevertheless:
-
- I was wondering if this group was going to discuss issues relating
- to being single in N.E. and _liking_ it? I have been single, am still
- single, and would prefer to remain single. It's not that I don't want
- any long-term meaningful _relationships_, it's just that I find
- long-term, meaninful _friendships_ much more rewarding. This attitude
- may change, of course, but currently it remains emotionally healthy
- for me. [Note: I realize, of course, that statements like this are extremely
- vague, but for the sake of brevity I will not elaborate further. I
- would be willing to discuss it at length if this group evolves into the right
- medium for it.]
-
- Does anybody else share these sentiments and would like to share? Or should
- topics like this be segmented off to another group (although, you have to
- admit, a group called "ne.singles" does leave a wide wake behind it).
