- Boston-area music lovers:
-
- The chorus of the Boston Cecilia (of which I am a member) is
- performing a program on Saturday, February 27th, in Jordan Hall,
- entitled "The Sapphire Ocean: Choral/orchestral configurations from
- turn-of-the-century England." Lots of Elgar, Vaughan Williams, and
- Holst. Lush post-romantic harmonies, multi-voice choral swells --
- folks, this is Queer Music if anything is.
-
- Regular ticket prices are $27, $18, and $10; if you get them through
- me (or another chorus member), there's a $2 discount.
-
- But wait! there's more! For a group of 8 or more, you can get dinner
- at one of four nearby restaurants (two steak houses and two Thai
- places), plus an $18 seat to the concert, for the amazing total of $24
- per person.
-
- So what about it, folks? Want to try to get a group together? Send me
- mail at coren@osf.org if you're interested.
