  11. Boston-area music lovers:

  13. The chorus of the Boston Cecilia (of which I am a member) is
  14. performing a program on Saturday, February 27th, in Jordan Hall,
  15. entitled "The Sapphire Ocean: Choral/orchestral configurations from
  16. turn-of-the-century England." Lots of Elgar, Vaughan Williams, and
  17. Holst. Lush post-romantic harmonies, multi-voice choral swells --
  18. folks, this is Queer Music if anything is.

  20. Regular ticket prices are $27, $18, and $10; if you get them through
  21. me (or another chorus member), there's a $2 discount.

  23. But wait!  there's more! For a group of 8 or more, you can get dinner
  24. at one of four nearby restaurants (two steak houses and two Thai
  25. places), plus an $18 seat to the concert, for the amazing total of $24
  26. per person.
