  13. Genzyme Corporation is a diversified health care products company with
  14. three strategic business units:  biotherapeutics, diagnostic products
  15. and pharmaceutical and fine chemicals, located in Framingham and
  16. Cambridge, Massachusetts.  Responsibilities of the Database
  17. Administrator include installing, monitoring and tuning of our database
  18. environment, maintaining integrity of company information, and
  19. participating in the design of database systems.  Requires a BS in
  20. Computer Information Systems, 5-7 yrs' experience in the logical and
  21. physical design and management of relational database technology, and
  22. the ability to work in a multi-vendor/multi-product environment.
  23. Rdb/VMS experience necessary, preferably in a network distributed
  24. manufacturing environment.  Experience in SQL,DALs, UNIX and Oracle a
  25. plus.
