- Bagels: Newton Center has a nice bagel place. And I grew up
- eating at H&H in NYC, so I think I know whereof I speak. Unfortunately, what
- I don't know is the name of the place. It's right in Newton Ctr,
- (accessible by green line) and is a bagel place, not a bakery (_don't_
- go to the bakery).
-
- I have also heard that there is a decent bagel place in brookline, maybe two.
-
- Boston proper? Forget it.
-
- There is a good place in Pittsburgh, and I'm told that there's a good one
- in Potsdam, NY.

- The S&S (es, es) in Inman Square, Cambridge (somerville? near the line)
- isn't bad. They have decent knishes, though not great ones.

-
- Don't forget the knishes from Zabars!

- There's a nice Thai/Laotian place in Waltham, called Bangkok flavor. Not
- _special_, just nice. If you're in waltham or newton, its a good place to go.
