- I have (I think) a consistant answer for this from the
- IRS, but I'd like to hear from others in this group:

- "Are disability payments considered taxable income under
- the following conditions:

- -Payments are from a state (CA) disability insurance
- program, that is funded by regular payroll deductions.

- -The person recieving the disability payments is NOT
- unemployed at the time of the disability.

- -The person's employer provides a normal 'sick leave'
- paycheck (this paycheck + disability payment = normal wage)."
