- This "the media doesn't tell me what to think" stuff reminds me of
- some research that was done on the California lottery ads. (I'm not
- saying any posters have been told what to think by the media -- this
- thread just reminded me of this.)

- if they were influenced by the ads, and if they could remember the ads.

- remember them, but gave reasons that basically regurgitated the slogans
