  12. I am pregnant with my first, asthmatic, and am allergic to cats. We do, however,
  13. have two cats, and we were all able to cohabitate quite well after my
  14. body "adjusted" to them.  They no longer make me sneeze, wheeze, etc.

  16. Well, as an asthmatic, my chances of having an asthmatic child are really
  17. great.  I am concerned as to whether or not the baby will be allergic.
  18. I am planning on breastfeeding (I have read that it is a great way to
  19. keep a baby of an asthmatic from developing food allergies if done
  20. during the first six months), but will I also pass on my tolerance
  21. of the cats to the baby?  Does anyone have specific experience with this?

  23. I'm almost afraid to ask the people on rec.pets.cats!  They might tell
  24. me to keep the cats and get rid of the kid!!  :)
