- Friends of ours now have chicken pox. I had it myself at the age
- of 1.5 years, so I'm okay.
-
- The question is, does nursing a chicken pox-immune mother give a baby
- of nine months immunity to chicken pox?
-
- If not, and the baby catches it, how likely is it that the baby
- will fail to get immunity to chicken pox?
-
- I'm wondering what the magic age may be, after which immunity is
- likely--I seem to recall that a baby who catches c.p. below a
- certain age is unlikely to develop immunity for the future.
