  12. I can't resist putting in my 2-cents worth.

  14. My daughter (just under 6) loves to make anything with hamburger - meat
  15. loaf, meat balls, etc.  She un-wraps the hamburger and I add the other
  16. ingredients (egg, bread crumbs, and herbs).  She loves to squish things
  17. together with her hands and to shape it.  Make funny-shaped individual
  18. meat loaves, plain meat balls, or put meat balls into spaghetti sauce.
  19. One of her favorites is Aikin Drum.

  36.    together on a plate to make a face.]

  38. Any thing with pasta is a big hit.  There is a lot of variety here.  Just
  39. last night I did Hot Pasta and Ham: Cook pasta (I use the multi-colored
  40. stuff from Bread of Life - they have different shapes and I let her choose
  41. which shape we use).  While it was cooking I chopped red bell pepper, celery,
  42. and a couple of pieces of ham luncheon meat.  When the pasta was cooked, I
  43. drained it and combined everything with a small amount of olive oil, black
  44. pepper, and herbs.  You can hide a LOT of vegtables in a pasta dish!

  46. Anything SHE can help with is well received.  I have recently solved the
  47. lunch problem by having HER pack her lunch (with minor supervision) the
  48. night before.
