  23. When my wife found out she was pregnant with twins 2+ years ago, we did some reading
  24. and discovered that the "risk" factors included being over 35 (or low twenties -- i.e.
  25. newlywed), heredity, and so forth. We'd like to think that twins were caused by extra
  26. passion :-), but same book went on to say that these factors only affect the incidence
  27. of fraternal twins. The incidence of identical twins (like ours) was constant across
  28. all ages, races, and family backgrounds. I don't know the name of the original study,
  29. or even which book it was in, but most of the books we found on twins had the same
  30. information.
