  25. Back in our Kinder-Care era, my son was bitten by another child hard
  26. enough to draw blood!  It's common "I know I read it somewhere but I forgot
  27. the source" knowledge that a human bite can be very, very dangerous
  28. because it's so germy.  (My-brother-the-vet claims that his family doctor
  29. was less concerned with a dog-bite than was with a daughter-bite.)

  31. Anyway, when my son's hand got infected and had to be treated,  I told the
  32. school that I insist they separate my child from the flesh-eater.  It's
  33. the school's responsibility to control the children's behavior when they
  34. are there, and children who hurt other children should not be put back
  35. in with them until the behavior has been dealt with.  If the child's
  36. parents will not cooperate, that shouldn't be YOUR problem.  It's between
  37. the center and the kid's parents.

  39. Good luck.  I know how frustrating that can be.  A few months after this
  40. episode, MY child decided to start chomping on kids!
