  19. Sorry, but I just couldn't let this go. So, I suppose I should have
  20. his wisdom teeth buds extracted two days after birth just in case his
  21. wisdom teeth might become implacted later. And his gall bladder, and
  22. his tonsils and his appendix. That is the logic you are using. Do you
  23. know the statistics of mishaps (infections, too much cut off, etc)
  24. from the procedure vs. the amount of circumcisions medically necessary
  25. for those uncircumcised at birth?

  27. A friend of mine has worked on a sex information hotline. They get all
  28. kinds of calls, including from men who have had their penis's cut off
  29. because of a slip, don't have a head at all on their penis, have scar
  30. tissue all over their penis, and so on. It looks like a neat simple
  31. medical procedure, but like with any other procedure, things can go
  32. wrong. Needless to say this has greatly affected those men's ability
  33. to function sexually as adults.

  35. My husband was circumcised - and didn't have any complications, but
  36. our son is intact. If the unlikely statistic falls our way and he
  37. requires the medical procedure of circumcision, then it will be done,
  38. with appropriate pain medication.
