- Yes Karen!
- In fact, I had 4 false negatives (2 home, 2 lab) urine tests with my
- first pregnancy. That was a real inconvenience. Unfortunately, at the
- time (8 years ago)--I was a smoker--and so I kept right on smoking up
- until it was "medically" confirmed I was pregnant--I know, that was
- crazy. I had been feeling completely lousy for about 4 weeks---my
- period was REAL late (maybe 26 days!)--anyway, the lab was right next
- door to a Subway Shop (sandwich/hoagie place)--right before the test, I
- had a tuna hoagie, a diet coke and a cigarette--well, one prick of that
- needle and not only did they draw blood out of me---they drew my lunch
- out of me---and yes, I was pregnant but we all knew that! This time
- (my daughter is 18 months)--I just went straight for the blood
- test--without the hoagie. Good Luck. Judi
