  11.         My one year old does the same and thinks it is funny.  I haven't
  12.         had much success with "NO" (in any area for that matter) but I have
  13.         had success with "DON'T DO THAT, DO THIS..." and then showing him
  14.         what I prefer him to do.

  16.         In the case of hitting/grabbing my face, I look and him and pat
  17.         my shoulder with MY hand.  He likes to imitate me, so he does the
  18.         same with HIS hand.  You might be able to think of something better
  19.         for him to do as an alternative than shoulder patting.  I needed
  20.         something immediately and it was the first thing I thought of to
  21.         redirect his action.
