- Dear employer:
- I am currently seeking a challenging position in telecommunications industry.
- I have strong interests in the following areas: Communications systems
- anaiysis, simulation and design; Digital Signal Processing applications to
- communications, image transmission and processing, speech coding and related
- topics. I have strong background in telecommunications from two excellent
- Electrical Engineering schools(see resume below): one in Moscow and the other
- in Minsk(nowadays the capital of Commonwelth of Independent States). My course
- work includes: Telecommunication Networks, Random Processes, Digital Signal
- Processing, Matrix Computations, Digital Communications, Detection and
- Estimation, Information and Coding Theory, Image Transmission and Processing.
- I also have 4 years experience in the industry. Main project I was working on
- as a part of engineering team was a satellite digital communication system for
- military applications. The number one reqirement was inherent privacy.
- To acheve that we had to employ encoding of digital signals which led to wide
- freqency band and therefore to shared spectrum approach. To reduce interference
- and to make maximum use of the frequency band we were developing variable rate
- vocoders, looking into methodes of modulation, optimizing service information
- flow etc. Other projects included development of methods of optimal detection
- in channals with some specific(nongaussian) types of noise and analysis of
- light propagation in different types of optical fibers.
- Currently I am in Ph.D program at the Department of Physics of the University
- of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. If a good job opportunity comes along I am
- planning to abandon futher education and take this opportunity. I find this
- way most appropriate one for me after careful consideration.
-
- I would like to emphasize the point that Iam highly qualified person and
- highly motivated one. I would like to assure potential employers that they
- will benefit a lot from my qualifications and analytical and computational
- abilities.
-
- Thank you for your time. I am looking forward to a positive response.
- Email responses will be appreciated.
