  17. This is a "hands-on" software architecture position to take responsibility
  18. for the implementation of the very latest UNIX System V Release 4 Extended
  19. Security / Multiprocessing (ES/MP) operating system for a new line of
  20. RISC-based multiprocessor workstations.  Will implement major OS and
  21. system software functions, including kernel enhancement and porting,
  22. device drivers, networking and data communications, commands and
  23. libraries.  Working with a group of 10 software engineers, will enhance
  24. SVR4 in CORE KERNEL areas of VIRTUAL MEMORY and PROCESS MANAGEMENT. This
  25. is a highly visible role both within the company (a major international high
  26. technology company), and the UNIX community (very close working
  27. relationship with USL).
