- This is a "hands-on" software architecture position to take responsibility
- for the implementation of the very latest UNIX System V Release 4 Extended
- Security / Multiprocessing (ES/MP) operating system for a new line of
- RISC-based multiprocessor workstations. Will implement major OS and
- system software functions, including kernel enhancement and porting,
- device drivers, networking and data communications, commands and
- libraries. Working with a group of 10 software engineers, will enhance
- SVR4 in CORE KERNEL areas of VIRTUAL MEMORY and PROCESS MANAGEMENT. This
- is a highly visible role both within the company (a major international high
- technology company), and the UNIX community (very close working
- relationship with USL).
