  13.       I hope this is an appropriate place for this posting as I am unable
  14. to actually read the newsgroup, it is just a name that I was given!

  16. I am hoping to move to Albany NY in March or April of this year. I
  17. graduated from Portsmouth Polytechnic last July with an Bachelor of
  18. Engineering Honours Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  19. This was a four year course, of which the third was spent working at
  20. IBM Havant where I became responsible for maintaining PC driven test
  21. software. My final year of the course was spent specialising in ADA and
  22. Microwaves & Telecommunications. I have also spent some time on 'C', UNIX
  23. and Pascal. We also covered Analogue and Digital Electronics, VLSI,
  24. Electrostatics, Advanced Microprocessors, Control, Software Design and
  25. Management Skills.

  27. I am currently working for IBM UK, which is where I spent a year working
  28. as an Industrial Trainee / Co-op. I have been accepted to RPI for a
  29. Masters Program in Computer Engineering but I am currently unable to
  30. fund my study. I am also waiting for a Fiancee Visa from the INS, which
  31. will allow me to enter the US and start work. Hopefully this will be
  32. issued sometime in March or April.

  34. I am currently working on a project that is mainly PC based to measure
  35. Power Supply voltages of the Network controllers that are built here in
  36. Havant. Besides this interest in computing I have also under gone
  37. training the Royal Air Force and have a Private Pilots License and an
  38. FAA waiver. I am a Queens' Scout (equivalent to Eagle Scout) and I am
  39. also hoping to continue my work within the community by joining a
  40. Volunteer Fire Department.

  42. I would be interested in any positions available, either for a short
  43. term or longer, I would also be interested in any sponsorship that may
  44. be available to help me with my Masters Programme.

  47. to supply any further details that you would like.
