  18. COMPANY SUMMARY

  20. NetLabs, Inc., a network management company based in the San Francisco
  21. Bay Area, is currently seeking contractor for a Quality Assurance Engineer 
  22. position to work on a leading edge project with a talented team.  
  23.  
  24. The contract duration is from 2 to 6 months.
  25.  
  26. QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER 
  27.  
  28. You will be working with the product development team to build a high quality 
  29. software product.  Specific responsibilities will include developing quality 
  30. assurance plans, developing new test procedures and cases, and verifying
  31. functionality with the product development team.
  32.  
  33. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  34.    o Strong software computer science skills using Unix and C in a
  35.      workstation-based environment
  36.    o Knowledge of general networking principles, specific network management
  37.      concepts SNMP and/or CMIP; protocols a plus.
  38.    o Knowledge of X-Windows, using Motif or Openlook
  39.    o 3 years of technical experience in Software Quality Assurance
  40.    o Ability to build tools
  41.  
  42. OTHER DESIRED SKILLS:
  43.    o Experience with software engineering processes, testing methods
  44.      and software test tools, 
  45.    o Exposure to other network management systems (IBM's Netview, AT&T's
  46.      Accumaster, etc.)
  47.    o Knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts, including exposure to C++
  48.      and distributed object oriented frameworks
  49.    o Knowledge of automated testing tools, e.g. Xrunner, Xcapbak, ViSTA
