- Hello,
-
- I am an investing neophyte in Minnesota. As a retirement plan,
- someone from Primerica Corp. is trying to sell me front-load mutual
- funds with an initial front-load of 8.5% (BUT--The sales person points
- out, this drops to as low as 1% when the value of the investment has
- grown. My unspoken repsonse: Yeah, right pal, talk to me when I have
- the $600,000 required for the 1% front-load)
-
- Is this a complete rip-off or what? I started getting suspicious when
- I found out they were a multilevel sales organization.
