- This brings to mind a question that I've been pondering:
- Namely, by the time you see these recommendations in Barrons, Wall
- Street Week, etc, isn't it too late? Haven't the recommended
- stocks all had their upsurge (if any) by the time you can get in?
- The reason that I say this is that I've read a study by Norman Fosback
- regarding the performance of stocks recommended on Wall Street Week.
- He showed that they performed best right *before* they were mentioned
- on the show; after the show, they tended to perform very poorly.
- Has anyone ever seen a similar study regarding Barrons picks?
- I'd be especially curious to see short term (30 days or less)
- versus longer term performance for recommended stocks.
