- I did get the charts for these stocks and the answer is yes. They (for
- the most part) have been on an upswing. The question remains, however,
- were they on the upswing because of the recommendation or was the
- recommendation because of the upswing. I would guess a little of each.
- Actually, I like to read these articles because they give me names
- that I can use to evaluate by my own criteria. For example Mario Gabelli's
- mention of Trinity Indust. looks like it might meet most (some?) of the
- things that I look for.

- I kinda go on the "first you find a stock to look at. Next you look for
- the stock to go for" principle. Nothing beats your own research!!!
