  15. You are only allowed to contribute $2000 to an IRA in a year,
  16. whether it is deductible or not.  My question is, on top of
  17. the $2K, can I also open an annuity, and have it grow tax-deferred
  18. as well, or will I have to pay tax on the annual gains of the 
  19. annuity and/or IRA?
