- I would like to thank everyone for their replies regarding eliminating
- the broker for no load mutual funds. I received a vast amount of useful
- information. For example, after the minimum initial investment, I plan
- on spreading out the rest of my investment over an reasonable time
- period. This ought to at least partially cover the risk that
- someone mentioned about investing when the market is pricey. I realize
- that there really is no consensus of when a good time to invest is.
- But do any of you have any rough techniques of deciding when a good time
- to invest is? For example, might one wait until the DJIA dips below
- 3200 before investing?
-
- Along with spreading my investments out over time, how about spreading
- my investments out over several mutual funds? Would it be a good idea
- to spread my investments out over 2 or 3 funds?
