- The problem with technical analysis, (prediction based on mathematical
- analysis with lots of charts, graphs, and ratios) is, of course, that
- even world-class robust models are subject to breaking the day after
- you buy in.

- Not to say that analysis is worthless, it's just that almost anything
- is possible and the market is always changing. Just ask the technical
- analysts who shorted Intel and bought IBM in December 1/2 :-).

- Another risk of technical analysis: over analysis. You may dig some
- trend out of the noise level that is patently bogus. You may do
- something you'll regret.
