  11. According to a spokesperson in Investor Relations at Ames, the stock currently
  12. on NASDAQ is available only to Ames creditors, not the public. Ames stock  
  13. issued prior to November 1992 is "null and void." In getting out of Chapter 11,  
  14. Ames -- or its creditors -- left previous shareholders high and dry.
