- Hello everybody :)
-
- I'm new to this newsgroup and am beginning to follow it.
-
- I have a small problem, maybe someone can give me a hand.
-
- I have a 1987 Plymouth Horizon with a 2.2liter 4cylinder engine.
-
- Originally, the car's RPM would not stay stable and would undergoe SEVER
- fluctuations during idling conditions. The dealer said that the computer
- was the problem. Upon replacement, the idling stopped, but another problem is
- still persisting. Now the car, at some instances, begins to lose RPM even
- pushing the pedal to the medal.
-
- I'll be driving when all of a sudden, the car would no longer accelerate.
- No matter what I do...the car won't accelerate..the RPM get stuck at about 1500.
-
- The dealer now says its the carburator. I'm not sure what to believe.
-
-
- If anybody has any ideas on this...I WOULD APPRECIATE GREATLY, any help!!!!
