- I have a Quantum LPS120AT IDE drive for sale here. It's less than 1 year
- old, with over 1 year warranty left and a few months of replacement
- warranty from DC-Drives. I still have the original box it was shipped in,
- which has the invoice # printed on it, and a Quick Ref Installation Guide
- and spec sheet for the Quantum line. This drive has a 256k cache on board,
- giving it an effective access time of 9 ms. Please note that this is not
- the same drive as the new ELS series. For some reason, Quantum decided to
- reserve the LPS setup for their 240 meg drives and have stopped manufacturing
- these speedy 120 megger's, replacing them with those 17 ms boogers...
- This drive is still young, with the date 4/29/92 stamped on a label, and has
- no bad sectors. I just bought myself a 200 meg drive, and don't particularly
- need this one around, although it would be nice to have around for those
- disk intensive applications (Wing Commander II for example... :). I'm
- asking for $275, which includes shipping via USPS Priority Mail. I'll
- happily guarantee it personally against DOA. Please e-mail me if
- interested...
