- Niacin in large doses (I don't know how large) has been used as
- a cholesterol reducing drug. One unpleasant side effect is
- severe flushing of the skin especially on the face and neck.
-
- Just looking at a bottle of multi-vitamins that I take, the old RDA
- for Niacin (Niacinamide) is 20mg, so the dosage in your VS supplements
- by itself wouldn't seem to be out of line.
-
- You may want to consult a nutritionist or someone knowledgeable about
- drug interactions.
