  18. This is a very popular question, here in Canada, where we really like
  19. things made of wood (g)

  21. I'm sure you will get many responses, mentioning pine warping ( tounge & groove
  22. kiln dried etc has almost fixed this problem) Knots in the pine (some people
  23. like the looks) etc.

  25. BUT, pine is sooffftttt, it will mark easily if you are not carefull (the
  26. harder you mark, the deeper it is) and knots that you once thought were
  27. showing charcter, will develop into little round plugs you find in the dogs
  28. or childrens mouth.

  30. Moral, if you want to do it cheap, and look OK, pine will do. BUT, if you
  31. want to live a little and have it last, use oak.
