  34. Please post responses on this one (or copy me!).  I broke down and bouught
  35. them after being told my kids have some alergies aggravated by dust.  I
  36. found some a lot cheaper than those advertised on the radio (Paul Harvey
  37. etc. for the low low price of $60 if you mention the advertisement).  The
  38. ones I got were more like $25 although some assembly was required (one
  39. filter is sold to fit all sizes, so you have to cut and assemble it
  40. according to the size you need).  Quite a savings for the 3 that I needed
  41. for my house.

  43. Which brings up my question.  Are they all the same (as I suspect)?  As far
  44. as I can tell, they all use multiple layers of foam that develop static
  45. charges as the air moves across them.

  47. As for me, the dust seems to be way down in the house, based entirely on
  48. the rate at which it accumulates on the furniture.  Alergies seem better
  49. too although it could be any of a number of other things to account for
  50. that.
