- Still, the idea seems sound. Here's an idea: don't use the tape to
- stick the rug directly to the hardwood floor. Instead, go to your
- local model hobby shop and by a small sheet of 1/16 inch thick 5-ply
- bass plywood. Cut the sheet into the shape of triangle, about 6" on a
- side, one for each corner. Then use the tape to adheare the plywood to
- the carpet. That should stiffen the corners nicely, and the bass ply
- is soft enough not to mar your hardwood flooring.
