  23. Still, the idea seems sound. Here's an idea: don't use the tape to
  24. stick the rug directly to the hardwood floor. Instead, go to your
  25. local model hobby shop and by a small sheet of 1/16 inch thick 5-ply
  26. bass plywood.  Cut the sheet into the shape of triangle, about 6" on a
  27. side, one for each corner. Then use the tape to adheare the plywood to
  28. the carpet. That should stiffen the corners nicely, and the bass ply
  29. is soft enough not to mar your hardwood flooring.
