  25.     I've done some research on water filters and have found that the
  26. best one on the market is a solid block carbon filter.  NSF (national
  27. sanitation foundation) has given one of these filters a very good rating.  The
  28. Multi-Pure filter.  It is certified for Asthetics and for Health ratings.  They
  29. remove lead, chlorine, TTHM's and a whole bunch of other stuff. (which I can
  30. hardly pronounce)  This company has a under the counter model that has a
  31. spicket you can mount on you sink.  The filter is good for 500 gallons (average
  32. use for a family of 4 for a year) and then needs to be replaced.  It's
  33. relatively inexpensive also, compared to bottled water -- it's a very good
  34. deal.  The only problem is the intitial investment, to buy the housing for the
  35. cartridge.  I believe it $329.00 but I don't hold me to it.  And the cartridge
  36. is $38, again don't hold me too it.
  37.     I've got one and have been using it for years now, and I love it.  (The
